I absolutely adore this format! It’s like blending Carrie Bradshaw’s inner monologue with the most soothing NPR podcasts and radio shows. I can almost see you typing away on a vintage orange or teal MacBook clamshell, gazing out your New York apartment window as the leaves change color. So fun and inspiring!
The fireside chat audio is everything!!! Listened this at my desk sipping my coffee - perfection. Your story telling is soooo good, loving your work here
Going to Catholic school we had uniforms, so no major wardrobe worries. But when “dress down days” came around, the stress and pressure to look cool was amplified. It was like we had that one shot to be cool - no room for error!! Fast forward a few decades and it has become my quest to find the ultimate bargain while thrifting at places like Goodwill, weird smells and all. I love the hunt and will gladly tell anyone of my newly acquired treasures, like the $14 full-length gown I wore to a black-tie wedding in Pasadena a couple of years ago 😏
Loving the audio!! So soothing to have the music playing and just zen time to listen!
Also - this is reminding me of that Lizzie McGuire episode where she is trying to win best dressed or something and the jeans her mom bought her at the discount store are the ones everyone loves, didn't absorb the lesson then, but certainly do now!
LOVE the audio component!!! Music was perfect!! I too have felt the push and pull of wanting to be cool ever since that chokehold limited too had on us 🌸 thanks for creating a platform for us girlies to grow together

I thought of that episode while writing this!!! I almost added a clip but it was hard to shoehorn in. But I think about the style shack jeans a lot
