Halloween in July... Again

New releases and secondhand items to shop. I'm sorry.

I need to make something abundantly clear: I am a staunch advocate of not pre-decorating for holidays or seasons. You will not see so much as an autumnal gourd in my home before Labor Day, and absolutely no spooky decor will debut until October 1st. Frankly, I think the Starbucks fall drinks launching in August are a little bit premature and actually, don’t get me started on how quickly they’re gone? I should still be able to get a PSL on Thanksgiving but they fully move on to Christmas by then which bugs.

However, as I discussed with you last year, this has no bearing on when I strategically shop for and start planning for the holidays. We start with Halloween.
